This fabulous Antique Edwardian Suffragette ring was made Circa 1915. The face is decorated with four beautiful, green Peridots, two 0.10ct Amethysts and a row of twinkling Diamonds in the centre.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery was chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking. Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes! The stones are set in a Platinum face which leads into the 18ct Yellow Gold gallery and shank. It is a spectacular ula piece and boasts a beautiful combination of gemstones.
